I'm always excited to photograph people at new locations, and this shoot was particularly cool because Miranda's mom actually asked me if we could use an old run down building that I had already been eying up for a while. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity. But first, we did some volleyball shots:
Followed by some dramatic black and whites:
Then we threw some color into the mix, and headed outdoors:
The last stop was the place I had been wanting to shoot in. It's actually the old K-6 elementary school where I spent seven years of my own young life. It closed 14 years ago and it's been falling apart ever since... paint peeling off the walls, holes in the floors, random rubble strewn about... in other words, a great location for senior portraits!
